DAY 9 - ST. JOSEPH, MO to GREENWOOD, NE
May 22, 2014

On the phone again, I can't wait to get on the phone again.
Don't these people ever work?

Today we woke up to rain.  It's our departure day from Platte City, MO.  No hurry as we only have 187 miles to travel to our destination, Greenwood, NE.  There we will continue our Lewis and Clark adventure visiting sites near Omaha.
Is it wetter under-water if it's raining?
I don't know, we're in Missouri.

Not a lot happening, rig 11 is traveling the interstate in front of us.  A short time later we arrive at Pine Grove Campground in Greenwood.  A very nice, well-manicured park.

Hope they know where they're going!
My GPS says we're in Hoboken.

After dinner there was an ice cream social / birthday party.  Bay Bob furnished ice cream for everyone.  Happy Birthday Pat and Jo-An.  It was a festive gathering complete with off-key singing, plenty of laughing, and great conversations.  Now that's a good party!  After all the celebration, things settled right down because the bus for tomorrow's activities will be here at 7:45 AM.

It was off key, but we did sing.  Where's the ice-cream?

The Birthday Girls!

This is so confusing.  If two women are married to the same man,
but it's two different men, is it against the law?
I don't know, we're in Nebraska.

Good travel day with no problems.  In spite of the morning rain, the weather cleared up and we had a beautiful day.
